About Me
I’m an Engineer, Author and Speaker with experience in MySQL, PHP, .NET and Email Marketing.
I currently work as a Senior Sales Engineer for Message Systems, producers of an enterprise-class MTA for senders and receivers.
Prior to joining Message Systems I worked as a Technical Writer for MySQL AB, producing video tutorials and documentation for subjects ranging from Windows-based administration to the latest GUI interfaces and extension APIs for MySQL. Until recently I was a resident MySQL Expert for Techtarget’s SearchOpenSource.com site, I position I retired from when I left MySQL AB and became busy with other things. I am one of the top ranked MySQL experts at Experts-Exchange, a site for providing advice to fellow developers.
I’m an experienced public speaker, presenting on subjects related to PHP and MySQL at a number of events.
